The Adventure Ahead

Day 1: Lima
Start getting to know Peru by taking a tour of Lima and having a nice dinner out on the town on your own.

Day 2: Lima to Cusco
On your second day, you’ll hop on a plane over to Cusco to see the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During this trip, you’ll experience the Awana Kancha Textile Center with llamas and alpacas, Pisac Inca Ruins, and colonial towns.

Day 3: Sacred Valley
Get a glimpse into the Andean lifestyle with a home-hosted lunch, an array of optional activities, and shopping.

Day 4: Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
You’ll travel to one of the most famous landmarks in the world, Machu Picchu on this day. Get the best view on the Ollantaytambo panoramic tour, as well as an afternoon Machu Picchu tour.

Day 5: Machu Picchu to Cusco
Spend the morning hiking Machu Picchu before transferring back to Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco
Once the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco offers local cuisine, historical architecture, and more as you take a tour.

Day 7: Cusco
On your second full day in Cusco, you’ll take a morning walking tour and then spend the rest of your day exploring on your own before coming together for a dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Cusco to Arequipa
Catch a morning flight to Arequipa, the colonial-era capital of Peru’s Arequipa region, and get to know the area on a guided tour.

Day 9: Colca Canyon
On this day, you’ll trek Colca Canyon, soak up the vast land, and catch glimpses of remote traditional villages chalk full of incredible architecture before heading back to Arequipa.

Day 10: Arequipa to Nazca
Experience unique archaeological culture as you take on Nazca, a city rooted in history with its unique system of valleys.

Day 11: Nazca Lines to Paracas
Take in the expansive geoglyphs in a Nazca Lines overflight before grabbing lunch and driving to Paracas to finish off your final full day in Peru at Ballestas Islands.

Day 12: Lima
As your trip comes to an end, say farewell to your Andean Immersion and prepare your favorite stories to tell on your flight back home.
